Fire Ecology References
Bibliography Description
This bibliography lists works that describe research on the fire history of particular places or vegetation types on the southern Colorado Plateau. Journal articles, book chapters, theses, and conference proceedings are included, but technical reports and other grey literature are not. The listed literature generally used tree-ring records, the spatial structure of particular forests, and charcoal records in lake sediment to reconstruct fire regimes and to analyze climate-fire interactions. Many of the studies also provide recommendations for fire management.
