Saguaro NP (RMD) Mammal Inventory

This project summarizes known current and historic information on all species of mammals in the Rincon Mountain District of Saguaro National Park, Arizona. It is a supplement to the comprehensive biological inventory completed during 2001–2005 by the National Park Service Inventory & Monitoring Program, but includes additional data from many other studies, as well as historic information from park files and other sources. The report consists of accounts of each species and includes lists of specimens and photographs that document the species presence in the park; a voucher photo, if available; a distribution map; a summary of historic records, including references to research studies; a general assessment of abundance; and general comments about the species.
